Ok,ok, i know this song is old now.. but believe it or not, i’ve just discovered it. My friends have already lashed me for now knowing it before, i don’t need another set of “wtf?”s thank you. Anyways, to the point…

ISN’T IT SO WONDERFUL?

I just love how it sounds so… earnest. It’s not like other cheesy love songs, “oh i love you your my life” type of bullshit. It feels like he really feels the songs when he sings. It’s not that the lyrics are so deep or anything, in fact, the lyrics are pretty simple and straight to the point. And that’s what i love so much. Simpleness. The production, the music, the lyrics, everything is so simple. Yet it’s the most amazing pop song i’ve heard in awhile. Fresh, clean, beautiful.

You know, i get it, you hear a song on the radio about a 1000 times, you hate it. The song is ruined. I was listening to it in school and everyone was like “That song is soo lame and sappy, i’m sick of it.” Believe me, I KNOW how you feel. I’m usually the one who declares death to all icky love songs. But this song is different, yes, it might be love song, it might be lame, sappy or icky. But it’s genuine. Bruno Mars is simply in love with a girl and wants to sing about it. What’s so bad about that?

If you like Bruno Mars, i also suggest Marry You, The Lazy Song, Count On Me and Runaway Baby. Grenade’s pretty popular these days but i’m not very into it. The beat depresses me.
