Beauty and It’s Benefits February 6, 2011

Beauty. A thin body. Nice, long legs. Big breast. Small waist.

Are they important? We keep telling ourselves no, it’s the inner beauty that counts.

Yeah, right.

Realistically speaking, yes, beauty is important. Very important. Just open the tv. Zap through channels. Gossipgirl. 90210. Pretty Little Liars. It’s not only the television. Look at musicians.  Taylor Swift. Beyonce. Avril Lavigne. Katy Perry. Shakira. Movie actresses. Angelina Jolie. Anne Hathaway. Halle Berry. Scarlet Johansson.

Yes, some of these artists actually have talent. But the reality is that there a lot of very talented artists out there but only little of them actually get the chance that these pretty ladies get. Did you know that Charlize Theron was discovered in a bank, having a fight with the teller? I’m pretty sure she wasn’t shinning with stardom back then, she simply distinguished because she was beautiful.

My lovely readers, this is The Law of Attraction right there. This is the law that our society has created, the law that gives the attractive and beautiful more oppurtunities, more success, better income, and many advantages in our daily lives. It isn’t fair, but it happens each and everyday.

I completely agree with you!
It seems a lot of people over look this. But I guess the first thing people view is what we look on the outside then preferably in the inside.

Yeah, unfortunately, the truth is that beauty is important to our species but we keep telling ourselves it’s truth because, maybe if we repeat the “lies” often enough and come to believe them, we can MAKE them become true! (An idea from “Hogfather” by Terry Pratchet).
